BSC Day 16! – 15/4/09
It was the day to present my CDE Oral Presentation. Today’s Chinese teacher was remarkable! He talked about the characters in the Three Kingdoms & he was very ‘ animated’ so the lesson was enjoyable. A direct contrast, the next lessons was boring ttm( to the max ).It was about china’s government’s policies and so on. Survived through the boring lessons & yay! There is no CDE today due to Mr.Lim not arranging any video conferencing with Mr.Chia & the technician.
We then had IHC lessons briefing then. Mr.Lim Hong Chin told us that we have to do the lesson 1-6 on www.elearning.blogspot.com. After that we had our first immersion program lesson. I was in the same class, 初一七班 as Jun Eng & Samuel woo. My immersion buddy was Liu Li刘醴After just one lesson, we had to come back just to go back to Tian Tan天坛 for a fieldtrip again. Every Tuesday we have fieldtrips to different places in Beijing.
This time the fieldtrip was a little different. This time the Xi An scholars who had gone to Tian Tan 天坛were our tour guides. Our tour guides were Wei Jun & Jing Han. They were pretty good.
Soon it was dinner & a slackly online lesson as Mr. Lim was not there to keep an eye on us. Played a bit of dota & downloaded some themes for the computer.
Studied then sleeping time as usual.

BSC Day 17! – 16/4/09
Today we had one full day of immersion program which was pretty boring. During their PE we had to play games like basketball, volleyball, soccer or badminton. Obviously I played volleyball with Zheng Jie & Zheng Ting. At first we were playing with the students there, but they were just so lousy. In the end we played among ourselves =p. We had a special lunch inside their lecture room. Later we explored the school a bit, thus finding the place where we could buy their PE shirts from. We slacked around in their lessons listening to their teachers & doing some work.
Everyone went back to class, lazed around with the computer & met Mr. Hon for a talk at 4pm. We also raised many of our doubts about BSC. During the free time I rushed some of my work and dolled up my computer :) Later it was dinner as usual. It was a slackly online lesson as Mr. Lim was not around to keep an eye on us.
After online I went back dormitory and slept immediately as there are no homework to be passed up tomorrow. REST!

BSC Day 18! – 17/4/09
Today is my best friend’s birthday. Sadly I am in Beijing and cannot contact him no matter what. Happy Birthday Justin Tan Kai Zhong :) I doubt he’ll be able to see this post so I just hope that he had a wonderful birthday.
Today was still immersion with the local students. The immersion will last until next Friday. The first period we were having there was Music lesson. Their music lesson is marvelous! The students there are all very enthusiastic about whatever they do. How I envy them. We watched them perform a dance for their dance grade. Some of them were really not bad. So much for the talent boom in Chin huh. When everything ended they still had some time left, so everyone started to dance. I almost got pulled out to dance with them. So scary!
Next lesson was Physical Education. I feel that it really is the ‘education’ thing, which very much differs from the Singapore’s kinda P.E. lesson. Firstly they had some discipline movement or something. You must follow the P.E. teacher’s instructions & act accordingly. Worst still, there are the ‘proper’ & ‘opposite’ commands. It was not my day as I was appointed to perform her instructions oppositely. At first I kept lagging but after a while I was used to it. Soon we had to run according to her commands, ‘1, 2, 1, 2’. After we passed the discipline training thing, we were taught how to do a basketball lay up.
It was fun experiencing their English period. It was the period where we could understand the most, as well as the period where we are a level above them.
The last lesson, History, was pretty boring. We watched videos on China’s history and etc. It felt exactly like Mr. Alvin Tan’s lessons.
We rushed back to school for Martial Arts lessons. We began to learn cooler actions like 马步.
Later I, Zheng Jie, Zheng Ting & Jun Xiong went for the 二附中’s official training. Sadly for the rest they were just playing among themselves. As they needed a setter to do warm up & training with their’s, I was the best candidate. After exchanging some skills here & there, I can assure that they had excellent ball, hand touch.
We proceeded to dinner. I also did some work during online lessons. After online lessons was the usual back to dormitory, P.T, homework, sleep.

BSC Day 19! – 18/4/09
Weekends yaye!
I took the opportunity to sleep as much as I wanted, then the kind Lin Zhuo helped us buy breakfast, 煎饼.
Before doing some work, I decided to play some DotA with Kai Yuan & Yao Ming. At first the game went on quite well, later Yao Ming kept disconnecting so I changed my mind & decided to study. I studied till noon then it was the fieldtrip to the Beijing Theatre.
The Beijing Theatre is not the kinda theatre which shows lotsa movies while the audiences are munching on popcorn ( oh those memorable times). This theatre is one massive place with lots of musical related gallery. I also had the chance to hear some quality opera by locals.
After the fieldtrip I, Wilson & Jun Eng went to 秀水街 for shopping. I bought few shirts, pants & Optimus Prime belt! Super cool! Kakkoii!
Due to guilt of going out the whole afternoon, once we went back I started studying until dinner then continued to study till sleep.

BSC Day 20! – 19/4/09
To pay for yesterday’s total mugging session from afternoon to night, I rewarded myself with some game playing time. 煎饼for breakfast. I studied at around 10+ to afternoon. Later I had lunch with Yan Rui at 太平饺子馆, it was not bad, quite tasty.
Came back after lunch, & I studied until very sian liao then started to crack some games.
I went to school to find Jun Eng for some crucial files that can work the game can YES. It worked. I successfully cracked Dynasty Warriors, Call of Duty & Devil May Cry. Woo.
I had some work to be passed up online & sent to the teachers so went to school to complete the work.
I finished most of my work in school so had dinner with Yao Ming, Alcander & Zheng Jie.
Study play study then it was sleep.
