Tuesday was sian ttm.
I think my English SRQ is going to die badly. Let me guess, the marks should be 1-3/10. HAHA. I shall update again when my marks are revealed so look out!
Oh ya ya ya. Math is going at a very fast velocity now. I can’t really catch up. I think I’m unable to top the class again for Maths anymore. Aw. Nevermind, once is good enough ^^
hy6 is still manageble until now, hopefully it doesn’t get any faster. Though I know I’m still going to die for the test no matter how much I understand phy6, oh well.
Weights was damn fun! Crazy sit ups session. I like I like. I’m finally getting back into SHAPE. OH YEAH BABEH ~ !
Today was a demanding day.
IHC was pretty(megan) fun hehe.
Chem was free period OH YEAH BABEH! Rewrote my humans essay I’m sucha goodboy.
English was sleeeppppppppppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy @_@ We were going through others’ SRQ’s which was flashed on the screen. It looked so minute, just like how Dong Ying looks from the other side of the court. Actually the words are even smaller than that, so you can imagine.
TODAY NO BSP OH YEAH BABEH ~ !
So I was doing weights for the whole day : )
I’m doing homework now so much work ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

Thursday:
Assembly was stupid. I don’t think changing your name to English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil, Korean or Jap has anything to do with anyone else. I found that day’s discussion totally p.o.i.n.t.l.e.s.s.
Anyway, we had last lesson for ELP Phase 1 that day. I quite like the ELP lessons other than the fact that they take up time for other more important stuff, although I’m really more interested in ELP than English or whatsoever, Geog.
Friday:
Chinese lessons in the morning, no kick. Phy6 lesson, demanding. IHE, Mr. Lim pon school. EF, write crappy SRQ. Current Affairs, slack.
I had some BSP presentation in IBP, but thankfully Gunny tanked the whole presentation for me. He’s one good guy man. We had to tour the parents around IBP later. I & Chun Yat were a group, & we led 2A3’s parents, if my memory doesn’t fail me yet.
The parents were extremelyyyyyyyyyyyy inquisitive!! Pretty engaging at the start, but slowly it was getting boring. I vividly remember this parent who kept asking all of us what the difference between CSE & IPSP is. In the end she decided to only find out about CSE.
Here goes,
Her: “What is CSE?”
Us: “CSE is Centre for Scholastic Excellence, where students do independent learning, need to take China studies in Chinese,…” ON & ON.
Her: “So what programs are there in CSE?”
Us: “HP, BSP, SMTP.”
Her: “So what if you are in IPSP? Are you in HP, BSP, SMTP?”
Us: “If you opt for HP, BSP, SMTP then you will get in.”
Her: “In CSE do you take higher or any subjects?”
Us: “Depends on whether you take HP, BSP, SMTP. You will have to do a research paper for all programs, & higher level in the subject of the program you opt for.”
She just keeps asking us about CSE CSE CSE. She just doesn’t get the BSP, HP & SMTP = CSE. After we tell her that, then she will say what about IPSP? They also have BSP, HP, & SMTP. After we tell her it’s IPSP then she will ask about CSE again. Wtf?
Damn annoying ttm.
I had a very late rest that day due to never ending enquiries from that lady, who caused me to reach home at 11plus.
Saturday:
I woke up at 10. Amazing. Then went back to sleep after switching on my computer. I opened my eyes, it was 1pm. LOL. I did some research on vertical jumps & holla! I got what I wanted. I went for NTU Run Round Singapore soon. It was super fun to run 3km with your schoolmates, teachers & public people. It didn’t felt like it was 3km at all. Probably it’s because the scenery is ever changing, & you won’t get bored of running. The goodies bag was damn scam, far from what I expected. It contained, maggie mee, red date with ginseng tea, tiger balm plaster, sweets – mentos, durian sweets from Hainan, white rabbit sweet , 3 vouchers – GNC, New Balance & I forgot what already. SO LAME LA. Compared to the Velocity the goodies bag, Heaven & Earth. However it was still a good experience. We contributed to breaking the world record! Congrats to our school teacher Mr. Yong for being the fastest marathon runner.
For the rest of the day I just slept my way over it.
Sunday:
Swimming! After so damn long. I miss swimming to freaking much! It felt a bit weird at first. The joint between my ankle & the foot seems like it’s dislocated, whenever I kick my legs it feels like it’s going to drop off any moment. The end came when I started butterfly. After around one lap while I was on my second lap, both my legs had cramp. What the freak super duper hyper cyber ultra very very pain. I changed to frog style & slowly struggled to the bank of the pool. I was trying to de-cramp my legs for the rest of the time.
Soon I return to boarding school & another week of school is starting. AH.
Monday:
I printed out my research on vertical jumps YAY! 14 pages. PE was pretty fun! Basketball! Luckily no more NAPFA test related crap.
Wah Mdm Chan praised me for my worksheet 5 woo I damn happy. HAHAHAHAA.
Lessons after that was boring, was playing Tap Tap Coldplay.
I’m looking forward to playing Wilson’s Itouch tomorrow. He’s going to delete all the other games & install Tap Tap Sin City.
OH YEAH BABEH~!

People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're really seeking. I think what we're seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonance within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive. That's what it's all finally about. ~ Joseph Campbell

Once upon monday & tuesday,
Monday:
1. PE was retarded. I ran in sneakers because I didn’t know there was PE. Though I brought PE attire to do weights. Timing 11:39 AHAHA FAIL.
2. BSP talk ended at 5plus. I & Zheng Jie wanted to do weights but the Auntie said that the Weights Room closes at 5.30 – when it is supposed to close at 6 or later.
3. Teasing Zhi Rong was fun hahah. He was so frigging stressed over EP Quest. Cute little boy.
4. Finished HCVB Write Up OH YEAH BABEH ~

1. Love Volleyball. Love Volleyball for the pure joy of accomplishment. Love Volleyball for everything it can teach you about yourself. Love Volleyball for the feeling of belonging to a team endeavouring to do its best. Love Volleyball for being involved in a team whose members cannot wait to see you do your best. Love Volleyball for the challenge of working harder than you ever have at something & then harder than that. Love Volleyball because it takes all team members to give it life. Love Volleyball because at its best, the game tradition will include your contributions. Love Volleyball because you belong to a long line of fine athletes who have loved it. It is now your legacy. Love Volleyball so much that you will pass on your love for Volleyball to another athlete who has seen your dedication, your work, your challenges, your triumphs... & then that athlete will, because of you, love Volleyball.
2. "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." The Hwa Chong Volleyball Team is all about maturing & growing from strength to strength with every victory & defeat whilst always aiming to scale greater peaks.
To help athletes gain much needed match experience & skills, friendly matches are organized all year round top of the usual trainings. Furthermore, overseas training trips are not just a springboard for better performances during tournaments but also to grow, live & bond together as a team.
The trophies mean nothing. The glory will fade. But what is important is that HCVB will always give their very best & cherish the teamwork & camaraderie for years to come. Even when you have played the game of your life, it's the feeling of teamwork that you will remember. You will forget the plays, the spikes, & the scores, but you will never forget your teammates & the times you have spent together. At HCVB, you will not only develop a passion for the sport but more importantly develop one’s own character as well.
No last game for HCVB!
I wanted to submit 1 & 2 together, but Mr. Tan said it was too long so I decided on 2 in the end.
ALL HAIL HCVB! :)

Cowardice asks the question, "Is it safe?" Expediency asks the question, "Is it politic?" And Vanity comes along and asks the question, "Is it popular?" But Conscience asks the question "Is it right?" And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because Conscience tells him it is right. ~ Martin Luther King

Today, I skipped BSP Symposium for the CV Writing & Interview Workshop. After attending the workshop, I felt like I’ve done the smartest decision in my whole life. THAT workshop was worth 16 years of my life. It was one of the most important, if not THE most important lesson I’ve ever attended. If any of you have had the chance to, please attend ANY workshops conducted by Talent Catalyst. If it doesn’t help you in some way or another, I assure you my head. For those who didn’t sign up for this workshop in IBP, I think you’re one level below all of us who have attended it, definitely. Oh ya, I feel that 16PF pwns the MDTI, hands down.

Let’s start off with some back tracking.
I meet some of my primary school friends for a mini gathering & bbq. I guess Wan Xin & Kang Raye was the earliest, followed by me, Hui Xian, Zuan & lastly Erica. *OH YA HUI XIAN IS DAMN TALL NOW LA 168 DANG* We ate at MOS Burger, as always, because we are still as indecisive as ever after 4 years. We bought some snacks & drinks on Cold Storage & I got nicknamed Aunty because I was too observant & meticulous. What in the world man. Then we proceeded to Crystal’s house.
At Crystal’s house, we first were playing cards in her room, as time passes we started to watch Peter Chao because it was amusing ttm. Love that guy man. Extremely comical. After watching loads of his videos we got tired of his accent & settled for Vacancy 2 in the living room. It was NC16 I think, & we were watching with Martin – Crystal’s cousin, who was half the age criteria. Wonderful experience for him. Erica came finally & watched the movie with us. Anyway the movie was so so ~ Its primary purpose was to allow time to pass faster as we were waiting for the rain to stop for BBQ.
We proceeded to BBQ pit soon, saying our goodbyes to Erica. Martin’s mum was helping us start the fire & everything. The guys helped in fanning the freaking fire while the girls carried the stuff. I think we’re kinda stupid. After attending so much BBQs together we didn’t bring anything suitable for fanning the freaking, still. But none the less it was great fun swinging your arms around like a mad dog trying to get the charcoal to BURN. Damn I really hate the charcoal man, it’s so arrogant, don’t wanna burn, faster. After everything was well, supposedly we were the ones doing the BBQ, however, Martin’s mum & the maids were doing literally EVERYTHING for us. We just sat down at the benches, waiting to be served with good food. Oh yeah babeh ~ the feeling of happiness. & mind you they cook really good BBQ food! Golden brown roasted chicken wings, tender juicy chicken chop, succulent satay, fat hot dogs, crispy prawns, mouth-watering right?
Faster all the sinful fattening, we walked around the digest the food then advanced to Crystal’s house to play. We continue with our poker cards frenzy. This time we played 6man asshole, with 2 commoners. After many rounds of it, we got bored of it & played SNAP! Oh my. It’s really how amazing a pack a cards ( with 2 cards missing LOL ) could make us so damn high. I swear SNAP! It’s the highest game I’ve seen with poker cards. It can make you go crazy, laughing. HAHAHA!!! After that we performed MAGIC TRCISK! Fun fun fun. Sadly, time passes by swiftly whilst you’re having fun, so it’s time to say goodbye. We took some photos to remember this beautiful day & soon it was farewell. Lucky Crystal. Didn’t have to travel back home because she was already there.
Poor the rest of us, especially ME, to travel home at 12am plus plus. The last bus back home was 11.32pm, so too bad it was midnight cabbing time, or rather getting conned time. I got home safely on the expense of 17.10bucks, but it was worth it.
Thanks Crystal for allowing us to wreck havoc in her room (not really, but out of courtesy).
Thanks Martin’s mum & the maids for cooking the delicious food for us!
Thanks Wan Xin of borrowing me 6bucks & Zuan for his 10bucks.
Lastly, thank you to all 6 of you for such a superb day!
Wan Xin, Kang Raye, Choon Zuan, Hui Xian, Crystal, Erica – you all have a special place in my <3

Wah Zuan so cute eh eh ~

Don't Zuan & Hui Xian look like a couple? o0ps sorry Zuan. HAHAHAHA.

This photo is kinda screwed.

Most of us looked sian here. Maybe too sad to say goodbye, too sad to smile. LOL.

I THINK I SPOILT THIS PHOTO SORRY JUST CROP ME OUT HAHA.

WOOPS I sleeping again hahaa sorry i think crystal's bolster too nice.

Everyone looks retarded-ly nice ^^

This is another retarded one. LOL.

Wan Xin looks like he has a beer belly, I WAS SCRATCHING MY HEAD HAHA, & was Crystal holding on to my hand? Adam's Glambert fan hand I mean.

ALL HAIL DA NICEST SHOT OF ALL.
Do you know what makes the prison disappear? Every deep, genuine affection. Being friends, being brothers, loving, that is what opens the prison, with supreme power, by some magic force. Without these one stays dead. But whenever affection is revived, there life revives. ~ Vincent van Gogh

Yesterday was wasted, but I hope today won't be wasted.
I had minimal training of 1hour before proceeding for phy6 lesson, which was kind of crappy. I can’t say I didn’t learn anything there though. Went back for training after lesson, but it was raining. We went through lots of trouble to finally find a place to settle down for lunch – adam’s food center. Found out a lot about bingru’s love troubles hahahaa.
Went home, took a nap before watching Bleach again. Yay! It has been very long since I’ve last watched it. Bleach reminds me of my sec1 & sec2 days, which were so fun & merry. I would give up almost everything to go back to those blissful days, & of course start volleyball once again as a sec1 & sec2 & play without regrets.
Late at night, where I was most peaceful, I found out about my homework. HAHA.
1. Mrs. Giam’s Powerpoint – I’m sorry I didn’t mean to forget about it.
2. Mrs. Jaya’s English SRQ - Since Zheng Jie has intentions to dao that I will just follow the flow.
3. Mdm Bian’s EXCO’s MSG – Lol JJ don’t believe me that I had collected it from everyone already. Tsk.
4. Chinese Compo
5. Chinese Newspaper Article Review
6. Chemistry Practical 4.3
7. Chemistry Practical 4.4

Hmm it’s getting late, I think I shall start washing up to go out. Maybe I’ll update again later.

Yo peapurl, I’m back by popular demand heh, with a new skin :)
So, in the blink of an eye, 3 months of 2010 is going to be over. How fast is that? That is one quarter of the year already dudes & dudetttes.
So far, studies have been pretty good. Volleyball was painful. Everything else has been quite average. IBP is great fun though, love it!
Half the March holidays are already over. So what have I done? I don’t really know also. I guess it would doing cover letter, resume, research on Razer, DotA!, training, studying other stuff, & OBVIOUSLY CREATING THIS NEW SKIN & UPDATING HERE! :)
HAHAHA. Goodbye it’s late I wanna sleep.
Oh & I will try to update as much as I can k.
Try to have a good day today, wherever you are, whatever you do, whoever is near, if no one is near. Try to be happy, because you may not see tomorrow. There is someone this morning, who didn't wake up, who will never see this day. Try to feel lucky that this is not you. ~ Margaret Cho

at 2:12 AM
Hello wello ^^ peapurl! I shall update (finally) about the Hainan trip first. My next post shall be about New Year. Anyway this is going to be an extremely super duper frickin long post. Okay ikuzo lets start on Day oneeee.
Day 1ne.
I reached the airport at 3.30 when we were supposed to meet at 4.30!! So early! I sat on the bench until my butt rotted. After the usual check-in registration goodbyes & what not, we boarded the plane. T!ger Airways, SUCK. I almost died in the plan ride. My ears were feeling extremely terrible – like a time bomb that was going to explode anytime. Either the budget T!ger Airways have budget pressure / atmosphere control or I was just abnormal. The food inside the plane was, incorrigibly expensive.

SEE FOR YOURSELF!
We got down the plane, the usual blah blah & waited in the bus for Glenn to come out from some health check because his temperature was too high.
The bus ride was pretty long man my butt spoilt twice for the day.
We waited to check into the ‘3-star hotel’ – 陈镇酒店, which was an utter downright total scam!!!!!

Although the bed & the room were quite cozy, it was still quite a budget-ty place. I lived in the same room as Zheng Jie! :D

After unpacking we went for our first meal at Wenchang high school – rice, chicken, pork ribs, veggies. Their veggies are very tasty I like! The servings there are hugeeee man.

Then we had basic volleyball training, super basic la lol.

Soon it was dinner - rice, duck, veggies & chicken.

ahyo wayne dont look at your pretty pwetty photos la. EAT!
We went back & partied in Zheng Ting cum Hongsen’s room. We played Dai Ti, Bridge, L4D, LF2, watch teevee. Super fun!
& that was the end of day1.
Day 2wo.
First things first before I say how did the DAY go, let me complain how did the NIGHT went!
FREAKING IRRITATING MOSQUITOES BIT ME ALL THROUHGOUT THE NIGHT! They were buzzzzzzzing non-stop beside my ear! I had to hide / cuddle inside the blanket & almost suffocated, luckily there was 2 pillows so I used one to lift up the blanket for oxygen. I woke up with 7 mosquito bites. Rah!
Anyway, being the oh-so-good captain I always was (HAHAHAHAHAHA), I gave everyone morning call. So nice of me right! Everyone was punctual la duh ( COS OF ME ME ME ).
Our first breakfast in Wenchang high school was maggieeeeeee meeeeee with veggie & some meat. I also ate 1 hardboiled egg & 3 floss breads. I felt so full after the breakfast. Luckily I ate that much, because I never expected the training later to be, worst than hell.

We gathered at Wenchang’s track for our physical training. First up, 2k! It was so taxing on my ankles to run 2k T.T Mr Tok’s daughter outran us & lapped us one round LOL & she is only 7 years old. After that was very tedious & meticulous stretching & stretching, stretch until my whole body tired le la. BUT THAT WAS JUST THE WARM UP.
Next, was step ups, both directions, fast step frontwards & backwards, 三步, 解球, 三步plus解球, left leg hops, right leg hops, double leg hops, & sprinting.
This may seem like very little, but the coach there cares more about quality than quantity, so we kept doing the same drills like at least 4 times each before he is contented ( actually not really contented la but he knows we’re gonna die soon, really soon ). BESIDES, it was after all the shitty warm-up & stretching, I swear we almost died. I could sleep immediately if the coach didn’t ask us to do more drills la.
If you thought that was the end, go & die. He still had some more COOL DOWN PT for us! Sit-ups 30x2sets. Mermaid ON THE TRACK 30x2sets also. I sunpa the team can really finish one swimming pool after that la. Singapore’s pt is NOTHING compared to Hainan’s pt man. They do what we do EVERY MORNING WITHOUT FAIL, even more times & sets. No wonder all their players so tall plus legs looks so muscular like hourglass shape.

Later was lunch, thankfully. I was so tired that I couldn’t even remember what we ate for lunch that day. We immediately went back to the hotel to slack slack slack. At 4pm later that day still had friendly against Wenchang high school.
THEY ARE IMBAH. NUFF SAID. They are godly in terms of spiking, height & jumps. They thunder like nothing one la. After they thunder the ball will bounce back to their court so very hard for us to get the balls. Damn ass. They all jump at least 60cm some more. OMG.

Overall we still played pretty well, lost all though, our best score was 25-20!
The night was colddddd after dinner.

Debriefed at Elvin, Wee Yong’s room, then went out for bbq!
Imam guaikia cannot eat spicy food because of my leg so I only ate bread, beef & sausage. But nonetheless it was niceeee, too bad I can’t eat spicy stuff or it’ll be even hotter! ;D

& that’s the end of day2.
Day 3hree.
Woke up, breakfast ( remains as the best meal of the day ), then basic volleyball training again.

Spiking, set games etc etc some of the normal stuff with different advice from different coaches.
We finished training, ate lunch then prepared for a stupid tour.

We visited 2 beaches,

UGLY PUFFER FISH.

Confucius’s temple 孔子庙,

& a supermarket.

One of the beaches was supposedly a tourism spot, whilst the other was where the Wenchang team trains. Everywhere in china there is a 孔子庙 la, I think.
After that we rushed back for friendly with Wenchang again. Lost all again sian.

Dinner. While on the way back we shopped a bit. Back in the hotel we taught Chong Hon & Han Ying how to play Bridge! Me – King of Bridge :D
We played until 12am & quickly went to sleep. There’s still training tomorrow. Ahhhhhhhh.
& that’s the end of day3.
Day 4our.
Woke up, breakfast,

normal training. So lame la the training I stand there watch the a div training -.- piss me & chong hon off ttm.

Lunch, then rest time before friendly with the monsters again.

Though we were very very tired & are supposed to take a gooood afternoon nap,

some of us ended up playing Bridge in Bingru & Chong Hon’s room.
We headed for friendly, lost all, still. But we played well :) We gave them our school collar pins for souvenirs. It was the last friendly on the trip so sad BOOOHOOOHOOO! :(
Dinner then went back to the hotel while Zheng Ting, Zheng Jie & Dong Ying bought earphones from a cheapo shop.

While waiting for our supper, I, Kian Keong, Gilbert, Junxiong & Zheng Jie played asshole dai ti.
The supper was with the Hainan vb players! Cool neh! We ate bbq again, just that this time it’s at a restaurant.

We interacted with them, & learnt some secrets moves from them! Joking joking. Now I shall leak out some of the random facts about them.
1. They must be at least 175 to join the team.
2. They have around 100+ players in the team.
3. They all live together in the boarding school.
4. They have officially 5 male teams – A1, A2, A3, A4, & A5.
5. We played against A4. ( OMG WTH!? )
6. They all minimally jump up to 3.4m to be in the A(number) team. If not reserves.
7. They train physical from 5.30am – 7.00am.
8. Schooling from 7.00am to 11.00am, then 11.30am – 7.00pm training.
9. The most zaikia player was sitting beside me, with a height of 1.91m & reach of 3.47m. WHAT THE SHIT?!
10. Ch!na is not cool! But China volleyball player are downright cool.
Next, we went for LAN ( IN CHINA OMG! ) & the china guys owned man ( they could use sniper on scope & play!? ). Oh by the way their LAN was 2.5YUAN per hour, ~ 50cents in Singapore per hour. Shuang not?

Last words of goodbye with the Hainan players & headed back to the hotel. Before we slept, we killed mosquitoes for a comfy sleep that night. Junxiong with 0 kills, me with 1 kill, Wayne with double kills, Zheng Jie with 3 kills & Elvin with 4 kills. Cool neh. So many mosquitoes! Never ending cycle of mosquito breeding in that Hainan Island though. Maybe they should call it Mosquito Island.

wayne & his double kill.
& that’s the end of day 4.
LAST 2 DAYS GO GO GO. AHHHHHHH.
Day 5ive.
Woke up & quickly packed my stuff because we are leaving today afternoon.

Last training of the trip sob sob T____________T. Rather lame but nonetheless. Overall-y we learnt much. However for some reason the court was E.X.T.R.E.M.E.L.Y. dirty & S.L.I.P.P.E.R.R.Y. None of us had much mood to train anymore. I mean who would if every 3 steps you make most likely you will slip & fall or sprain your ankle.
We had lunch then hurried back to get ready to leave the ‘hotel’. YAY!
Before we checked in into the other hotel we had another tour around the place. Luckily this time the tourism spot is much more interesting. We were touring inside a dormant volcano mountain.

Then we went into the hotel! We finally found a more acceptable looking hotel man. It was plain cool. LOL. The rooms had almost everything; I wished my room was like that. We unpacked then played Bridge & got high with the many many cool facilities there.

Heavenly entrance.

Heavenly poster.

Heavenly door to room.

Heavenly washroom.

Heavenly bath facilities.

Heavenly tea services.

Heavenly mirror.

Dinner was sirloin steak. We’re retarded peapurl who goes to China to eat steak. But it was not bad, & it only costs 1buck more than Prince!

I very sad I never buy la. Boohoohoo. Still, I was contented with the shoes, damn cool I like.
Debriefed at 11, all the way until 12+. We watched some DOTA channel,

played & played. I think I slept at 3+am, not sure about the rest.
So that was the end of our last full day in Hainan.
Day 6ix LAST DAY.
I woke up super early for breakfast argh. I wanted to sleep more but there were noisy peauprl & stupid morning callSSSSSSS. Though this was a hotel, the breakfast wasn’t as nice as Wenchang’s. Bleh.

After that we headed for airport already then byebyeeeeeeeeeee Hainan!
Needless to say, I survived the retardedly horrendous & arduous trip of coming back to Singapore in T!ger Airways.

HOME SWEET HOME!
In a nutshell, we learnt loads, bonded even stronger together as a team, faced teams that are much stronger than National Champs, & we will be much stronger back in Zonals & Nationals.
