These few weeks had been pretty interesting actually! & as you have guessed, I’m updating because I have the time to, FINALLY.

Wait gimme some time to think backkkkkk.

    Thinking,
    Thinking,
    Thinking,
    .

Okay I guess the first week after my last update was all the tests.

Now let me recall my results,
    English: ?
    Math: A1
    Phy6: ?
    Chemistry: ?
    Chinese: ?
    IHC: C6
    IHE: ?
    BSP: A1

According to my self assessment, English should be a B4-A1, Phy6 can range from F9-A2, Chemistry A1 pleaseeeeeee, Chinese B3-A1, IHE B3-A1 too. So worst case scenario, I will get a 3.5 for msg WTH. I shan’t talk about best case because it’s impossible lol.

Enough about test anyway, since mine are all over until EOYS which are coming innnnn 6/7 weeks AHHHHHHHH.

Next I shall talk about my personal failure. I really don’t wanna talk about this, but I have to note this down for self evaluation & reflection, so if you are running against time, skip this paragraph.

Friday 21/08/10 was Mock YOG match against St. Hildas.
We lost 0-3. I admit that the lost was mostly partly because of the incapability on my part. I kept receiving the balls badly, as in damn badly, as if I just started playing few days ago. But in actual fact I’ve already played volleyball for 8 years. That is half my life on volleyball. I can’t go no like this, being a burden to the team. I don't want to accept this. I don't want to lose. I’ve made a decision, to take responsibilities for my own actions. I don't want my teamates to get dragged down because of my responsibilities & actions.

    Sabbatical week last week!
I was in taichi kickboxing & squash, but I ponned kickboxing though it seemed very attractive. Squash was extremely fun! Everyday playing squash / exercising felt damn good since it has been ages since I exercised due to some deal. Anyway squash is very violent to me, lol. I keep sliding & diving for those low balls. This resulted in lots of scratches and bruises on my body. The worst was that I slid so hard yesterday that my head banged against the side wall. FREAKING PAIN MAN. Now I have a baluku behind my head.

I was ranked 5th overall amongst those who participated woo. Not too bad. It was the number of my jersey when I first played libero. 4th was Low Dong Ying who I lost to in the quarters. 3rd was Ang An Jun. 2nd is Joel Tan the Hwa Chong Idol 2010. 1st is Ang Yang woo. Squash is damn good compared to tennis, no offence joel ahaha. The last day the teacher treated us to pizza oh yeah babeh~! There was 6 pizzaz, 1 box of 15 chicken wings, 3 bottles of pepsi, & 3 boxes of cheese sausages, potato wedges & fried scallop. I bet none of the other sabbaticals had such a ‘farewell’ lunch . Squash (Y)!

With the end of the sec4’s last sabbatical in high school, I’m regret to say I haven’t enjoyed enough of sabbaticals due to lousy school system in the past that gives ACE for attending ‘meaningful’ sabbaticals, hence many of us going to those educational sabbaticals extrinsically for ACE. However I’m glad to say that I did enjoy the last few sabbaticals in high school – Naked Chef, Phy6 of Tennis & Phy6 of Squash.

I really hope that sabbaticals in JC will be as / even more fun.

Next week is gonna be the last week of Term3 in high school. 2010 is going to pass by extremely soon, sadly. I wish time would pass slower, if there was any way it could. It seems to be going faster & faster throughout the years, not taking into account factors such as angle of earth being tilted slightly due to collision with other objects in space or natural disasters.

It is 6/7 more weeks to EOYs, let us all enjoy the last few days of our high school & make it a memorable one.

As for me, I must start training for HCVB in JC, for the libero position in the main team, for the 3rd consecutive championships in A‘division nationals. And 1.5 for EOYs, which is exceptionally challenging considering my results, ACE & OP.
Anyway, till the next time I update, good luck for everything everyone :)

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood... I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today... ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
